Nov 17th Coastal Low

Nov 17th Coastal Low

So, we have a potential Coastal Storm setting up for the late weekend/early next week, Nov. 17th-19th.  Both models agree as of Wednesday the 13th that the Storm will stay out to sea as it intensifies…  So, most of the energy and precipitation will hopefully hang out over the ocean.  In any event, we will see solid SURF for more than one day and potentially good conditions for two days..

Ocean Temp:  52

Saturday surf builds with a steady NE wind ripping down the beach…

Sunday, the surf comes up a bit more with 5′-7′ waves expected and continued NE winds as the storm begins to deepen off the coast…

Monday, the storm begins to weaken as it moves further off out to sea.. Plenty of swell will continue to hit area beaches and Local winds could be North… High Tide: is around 11:10 AM.

Tuesday, we should see continued E swell with wave heights in the 5′-6’+ range with a light NE wind expected…

Wednesday, E swell fades a bit but still fun waves expected with surf forecast to be in the 2′-4′ range with light NW winds possible.

Trick or Treat

Trick or Treat

Over the upcoming weekend an area of Low Pressure marked with an X could develop into a Tropical/Sub-Tropical storm… Early forecasts show longer period swell, in the 2′-4′ zone arriving Oct. 30th/31st… Not expecting a huge swell event, but worth keeping an eye on…
