Tropical Storm Florence
Tropical Storm Florence has formed well off the coast of Africa. The 5 day track of the storm has it spinning through the middle of the Atlantic. Early forecasts show swell from this storm arriving sometime next weekend.. Also arriving next weekend will be a frontal boundary.. This will provide short period ENE wind swell for our region. with wave heights in the 3′-5′ range. Under the NE local wind swell we will begin to see linger period swell from Florence. As we head into early next week, September 10th,11th,12th we will see more off the longer period swell and less local wind swell…
